: Who has pinstriped???
Polarbear 05-31-2004, 09:52 PM Ive been running the idea of p-striping my pickup back and forth recently. There is a 03 chevy 1500z71 in my area thats charcoal metallic like mine and has like a sky blue p-stripe and then CHEVROLET across the tailgate and it looks incredible....I saw a black 7.3 P-stroke w/red p-stripe that looked pretty sharp too....So whose done it, lets see some pics...If you dont mind answering what it costed you as well...Thanks-Adam

I don't have a clue what a pinstripe job costs, mine was already done when I got the truck.
I had to do mine myself since everywhere I looked they kind of chuckled when I asked about pinstripes.
The stripe stuff was under $10.00 and took me about 30 minutes to do. Sorry it's not a closer pic, but it's two small black stripes. You can see that if you look above the emblems on the rear fender.

flhrciblueice 06-01-2004, 05:28 AM I saw a white f350 with barbed wire pinstriping the other day. I didn't have my camera with me as I was on the scooter, but it looked cool. It was vinyl stick-on striping.
Turfmower 06-01-2004, 07:35 PM I have pin striping on my truck.
BlueOx03 06-01-2004, 09:50 PM I've never been a big fan of pin striping, that is until I saw the hand painted pin striping on chilly's truck. The guy even put bow ties in the stripe on the quarters. looks really nice...maybe he'll pipe up and post some pics...

My truck--silver in color--came with a black/red pinstripe. I took it off and like the look much better.
4x4man 06-02-2004, 09:11 AM I had my pin stripes painted on. There was a guy that was doing it at the dealer. Cost me $150 or so, can't remember exactly. He also did a cool little design on the tailgate. I have a couple of older pictures that have better shots of the pin striping:

wheelman 06-07-2004, 01:26 AM Frank Blum, I have a white GMC and want to match my Wilderness 5th wheel. Are those decals or did you get it painted on? It looks great, just what I am looking for.
JimWilson 06-07-2004, 01:33 PM Mines stripped too. I think it looks pretty good, actually.

56Nomad 08-30-2004, 03:46 PM Hey Zeeb,
I did the same with my truck....... easy to do and cost less than
$10. My truck is white and my double stripes are blue.
Also, do you have aftermarket wheels on your truck?
56Nomad 08-30-2004, 04:05 PM You can find a wide selection of striping
at any local paint and body supply store
