I searched all 4 pages of this DTC  I get the P0237 code every single morning and just clear it out after 5 minutes of driving...kind of gotten used to that one. Now....I am getting the P0299 from out of the blue. Never had a problem until now.

From reading various posts, ALOT of people have or had the same problem.

Some have stated that GM has a new flash for the computer.
Some say it needs a new air-filter.
Some say its lack of a CAT converter.
Some say to add a Boost stick, others say its because of the Boost stick.
And a few have posted saying that the EGR is to blame as well as a possibly dirty MAF sensor.
Then, there is a possibilty of loose clamps on the intercooler.
One guy even relaced his EGR.
And finally...people state that you need a EGR blocker plate.

Seems like people have the code, then they get a couple of suggestions and I never find out exactly what it was that cured the problem. Or if actually was fixed.

So, to wrap up my longwinded post....Has anyone who has had the code, gotten it fixed? And if so, what IS the fix??

I can't tell you the answer but my truck is afflicted with the same deal. Has been to the dealer several times with no solution. Once they had it for a month. Another time for 2 weeks. Various sensors, wiring harnesses, even the turbo replaced. Still does it. EFILive has allowed me to turn it off so I don't get a light and it doesn't limp. A halfassed solution I know, but the truck runs fine and its better than the alternative.

A dirty/oily MAF is often the cause...

First start of the day, log with the EFILive scanner the boost PID.
See what numbers you are getting when the code sets.
Then look at all the boost tables in the Tuner and see if the numbers are close.

Cheers,
Ross
