My LLY just started this problem. The wait light stays on and will not shut off. If you start the truck with it on it does go out.


Any simple ideas ? Hate going to the dealer

I had the same problem a few months ago... My light stayed on all the time... The dealer had a service bulletin on it and fixed it with a software change.......Triffid

I had the same problem adn took it to the dealer. Here is the title of the bulletin the gave me.

The fix is coming with a new control module. My dealer said it is not out yet. The only current resoution is to have the dealer unplug and then replug the DTC if they can not clear it with the Tech 2.


This solved my problem but the dealer said it it only temporary and may happen again until they can replace the control module.

Same problem with mine. I haven't been back to the dealer yet, but it's starting ok.

You can probably disconnect the battery for at least minutes and that will clear it until you can get it to the dealer.
