I have a 235x16 spare and when I installed the Mag-Hytec rear cover the spare rubbed on it. Truck orig. had 215x16's. This is probably true on many of our trucks. On the crossmember above the spare is a hole where you can mount a small L bracket which will hold the spare to the rear enough to gain clearence between the rear and the spare. Once positioned the bracket keeps the tire from working forward during travel.
