I have 04.5 LLY and run the 2.02 predator. The other day I just went into look at the injector balance rates and had no clue what I was looking at. At idle some were .9, others 1.2, and others 2.15, big differences. How do you acurately check them, or can I even do that? What should they be? Thanks

Those numbers are in spec. The numbers you are seeing that are of different ranges in order to have a smooth idle. But is a indication of injector over all condition. If at idle if the ECM is pulling fuel,negative number,adding fuel positive number , it will be the same at higher RPM's.

When you see numbers in the 5./6. then you will or could have issues of faulty injectors. GM will also check for fuel return rate before replacement and wont just rely on balance rates.

anything above +/- 4.0 in park AND above +/- 6.0 in drive needs to be replaced.
