: Anyone good with Photoshop??
2MuchFun 05-29-2004, 09:40 PM If there's anyone good with photoshop would you mind making the wheels on this truck look like a matte black or Satin black finish?
I have a extra set of H2s and am thinking of having the wheels powdercoated black but not glossy.
Also I want to keep the center caps the way they are.
TIA!

LOVE THE H2's!
The truck looks great!http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
HATE THE MATTE BLACK FINISH. ~Leave those to the 80's model lifted 1/2 tons.
If it aint broke don't fix it unless your gonna put some bling bling on it like the ricers.
Just what I think. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big%20Smile.gifEdited by: goin' pullin'

2MuchFun 05-30-2004, 02:47 PM Ok, you guys are right.
It looked better in my head than in reality.... ~Gee that sounds familiar http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif
DMAXPWR 05-30-2004, 03:46 PM I don't like it either. the wheels look as if they have never been cleaned, and have a serious case of brake dust on them!
Max Power 05-30-2004, 08:40 PM I don't like it either. Looks really cheap to me. I would either leave them alone or chrome.

I always take a second look at late model trucks with the blacked out wheels. I like the look. Kind of industrial.
Polarbear 05-30-2004, 10:15 PM Defintily leave it....that truck looks excellent w/the silver h2's....my truck is the same color, its the best color by far all shined up...http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big%20Smile.gif
VFRRider 05-30-2004, 11:06 PM There was a guy on Ebay selling H2 rims powdercoated black. I actually think they could look good on a dark truck, if you could get matching black centercaps. The OEM chrome plastic's just don't go.
EEEEZY 05-30-2004, 11:48 PM NO, no, no, no! Forget the black!
baimpala 07-06-2004, 01:48 PM If you're going to go black, go all the way. Door molding, center caps, bumpers, everything. Darth Vader was a bad-a$$, he didn't have any chrome on his getup.
Sorry, I was 6 years old when Star Wars came out and it was the first movie I ever saw in the theater, Darth was the man.

baimpala 07-06-2004, 01:49 PM P.S. I prefer the wheels as they are.

OneSilverTruck 07-06-2004, 09:55 PM I Like the black, that way you really dont have to clean the brake dust, plus it doesnt look like every other chrome wheel in America (no offense if you have chrome wheels). But that's just my opinion.
D15TUR3ED, could you photoshop in some topless women in the bed of my truck, just want to see how they would look! Nice work
D15TUR3ED 07-06-2004, 11:08 PM OneSilverTruck, post a pic and I will put them in the back. As long as I dont get in trouble.

ROFLOL!!!
motocopter 07-09-2004, 07:58 AM Go for it! Especially since you have and extra set of wheels. Then you could mount what matches the mood you might be in. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
BassinRVer 07-09-2004, 08:45 AM I like them blacked out with the chrome centers.

And maybe you could get steel tires too then? http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Thumbs%20Down.gif

flhrciblueice 07-11-2004, 06:38 PM I agree with Hoot. I like the industrial/plain jane/sleeper look. But, maybe semi-gloss would look a little better since the truck is so shiny. I have seen a set of the caps painted semi-gloss black on ebay for a GMC. I thought about bidding on them, but I still haven't decided on what wheels I want. I also agree with baimpala about blacking out everything. That would look cool. When I was in high school, me and a buddy built a 383 stroker w/n2o and put it in a primered '76 2wd 3/4 ton. We added 4 mufflers and cutouts right behind the headers. He hand painted "farm truck" on both doors. The camaros, stangs, and gn's didn't know what hit 'em.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
conradv 07-12-2004, 06:38 PM I've seen 'em painted the same glossy paint that the truck is painted & they looked really good - It was a green truck though.
NorCal 2500HD 07-13-2004, 05:09 AM want to sell those h2's......what part of cali r you from????
sprintmod1 07-15-2004, 11:27 AM I don't like the black wheels at this point but maybe if you do the center caps, get rid of the chrome molding, paint the bumpers and get some good dark tinting on the windows. The black super stealth look, if it was all shiny with some nice white lettered tires, might look pretty good.
Duramax_Dude 07-15-2004, 09:41 PM i think it looks great with the black rims and chrome centercaps. theres 1 or 2 trucks around here like that and they look nice IMO...makes the truck look tough.
rickles04 07-27-2004, 09:18 AM looks damn good.....those who dont like the black h2's are the ones who still has some old swirls on something in the drive and think it looks good
ihate24 07-27-2004, 10:47 AM i like the black, it looks good
TheDuramax 07-27-2004, 02:49 PM Check this out. American Racing Mojave Teflon wheels. I modified the second one to show what it would be like with a chrome lip, I like that.
