Can an 04.5 tcm be flashed to an 01 os?? My 01 seems to shift so much better, is the reason I ask.

Yes. You could also swap TCM's between your trucks to see if it works first without having to use a license.


You may want to display and save TAP cell data for future reference and TCM programming.

Swapping the TCMs is a great idea to try it first.

FYI, you will lose your OD lockout function with the 01 OS.:(

What about the 01's that have the O/D lockout already flashed and wired in the TCM?
