I have an 02 D/A combo, just hooked the high idle kit up, that I got from Merchant Automotive i hooked the pin to the C1-71 and then to the brake pedal switch wire the green wire with white stripe. It is not working and i have no idea what i have done wrong??

Do I need to take it to the dealer and have them program it or have i done something wrong?

I would doublecheck the pin on the PCM side. I know it took me a couple of times to get it to lock in all the way. You should hear a pretty good snap. Also, you need to keep your cruise on. Other than that, I would probe the brake pedal wire to make sure it has power only when it is in park, brake not depressed.

I took it back apart my dumbself :o: :o: didnt have the pin all the way in on the ECM, thanks for the reply.

Glad to of helped....I figure that is the hardest part of the install....getting that pin to lock into place. At least it was the hardest part for me.
