Does anyone know where to get replacement bulbs for the overhead cab lights? I went to Autozone and all they got is the entire cab light assembly. I searched online and cannot find replacement bulbs anywhere. Thanks.:help:

the bulb is a 194. they have them at autozone. might want to check to see if they have 194 leds. they plug into the same socket but are leds. not sure if they would be bright enough for the cab lights since they are used in gauges

Lincoln20,

The bulbs in the two outer cab lights are regular 194 bulbs. The center cab light bulbs are PC194 bulbs. These are just 194 bulbs that are soldered into a 1/2 inch socket. I have heard of some folks removing the bulbs by de-soldering them and replacing the bulb.

What I did was buy new sockets from AutoZone #85835 Conduct Tite (1/2" Instrument Panel Socket), that way I could run whatever 194 equivalent in my center cab light. My choice was LEDs, you make your our choice. ;)

Hope that helps you out.

yea im interested in the pics too, just wondering if 1 194 led woudl shine as bright as an incandecent. ive noticed usually if leds are used for something such as a third brake light, there are a few led's clustered together

The Jamstrait brand LED's, amber for my side fender, is brighter when you look at it straight. On a angle, they are not as bright as when you look at it straight. But it does say on the package you can bend out the LED's a little for a angle light. BTW, the Jamstrait brand LED's are the best 194 LED's I have purchased, and I have bought a lot of them looking for the best and brightest ones...

The #168 bulb is the same size as the 194, just a little brighter.

Catch,

I got my LEDs at the Zone too. They are the ones with 4 LEDs tied into the base. I think they look fine they might not be as bright as a normal 194 but they aren't far behind. Here is a pic, but it isn't the best. The flash kinda washes out the lighting.

The 168 is a regular bulb. IIRC they are 3CP and the 194 is 2CP.
