I have a 2005 durmax, 9840 miles on it. Truck was not run for a week, went to use it. It started but died but it won't start again. This 2nd time its done this. Towed to dealer but it started there, no codes. Back at dealer again. Anybody have this problem.

Completely stock I assume as you have nothing in you signature?

Most likely loosing fuel prime, or clogged filter.

I had the edge on first time never put back on. The filter was changed about 1000 miles ago. I did try prime filter the first time but there was fuel there.

I take it you already tried to prime the system at the filter using the plunger? It should be hard to depress after a few pumps.

Had the exact same thing happen to me a few weeks back with edge. I pulled out the edge and it still wouldn't start, waited a few hours and away she went, and haven't had it happen since, just waiting for the 06 air box parts to come in for my OH issue now.

I had a similar thing happen, I started my truck 1 morning went into the house for something and my truck stalled. I turned the key but the motor would not start so I lifted the hood and primed it by depressing the plunger on the filter until it became stiff, got back in the truck turned the key and it started right up. I haven't had a problem since.
