Thanks Diesel_Dog for your supplied headlight mod, after my recent 2,000 mile Oregon trip , I found that I now had the lights I needed for those dark back country roads. And the I-5 late night traveling.

They helped me spot roaming wildlife ahead, so as I could slow down in time and avoid them. Which made for a much safer trip.

To other's ....if you haven't done this all-on headlight mod yet , your not using all your available lights to their potential.

I agree, the all-on headlight mod was the best $1 I've ever spent and it makes a huge difference!

In my words.....it's a shame to not use everything you got available !!

The lights are there anyway, so why not use them all when you need them !!

I agree, it is a great mod. I went one step further and added a set of PIAA 580s mounted on a bull bar, so when the highs are on I get Low, High, Fog and 580s. That really, really helps.

Of course, the downside is that when I go back to low beams, I can't see a damn thing. :D

As a helpfull note....to realy see how cool the headlight mod is , I needed to have the wife drive the truck back and forth past me while I stood on the side of the road.

Bad news was she didn't stop to pick me up....long walk home. Reason why ?? please refer to pics of me frying her tires on her Hemi Charger R/T

It was no problem, I bought a 50 pack of diodes from radio shack and only used one. Figured it was a shame to let them go to waste! I've noticed a lot of people on here are friendly and willing to bend over backwards for other members. I figured making a couple sets of diode wires for you (Quick 6) was the least that I could do to contribute to the site.

Works great and definitely lights up the night.

Some also include their fog lights to the all headlight on mod with a second diode...do a search and there'll be a diagram on this.

It works on the 06, Did my 06 last night, low beams on high and fog lites on with high beams. Works great, love the extra light!!
