Hay everyone,
I was windering how many people have removed their Catalytic Converters. If you have was there any negative affects of doing so. I am a little concerend about not haveing anough back pressure once it is removed. Here is my plan. I want to buy the Banks Monster axhaust system. They have a part called the Federal ( I think) that goes in place of the Cat. This is for "Offroad Use Only". What I like about it is that I can just bolt that Cat. back in place if needed. A rep at Banks told me that it would take maybe a half an hour to pop out the Federal and put back in the Cat. (you know for when I go back on the highway) http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif. Anyway, if anyone has done this I would appreciate some feedback. I talked to the dealership and they said to just make sure I keep all the stock parts so they could be put back on just incase of potential waranty issues.
Thanks,
Mike
