I came across a pair of Kicker 12" comp's this afternoon with an Audiobahn A8000T amplifier for $150. I'm going to build a custom box for under the seat with a shelf inside for the amp with a plexi top. Anyone else running a setup like this?? Haven't heard them yet but they should be nice. The amp is a mono 400 rms 800 rms bridged. Just wondering how i bridge a mono amp?? I have no experience when it comes to auto aplications. A little help here on how to set it up?? Do i need a capacitor?? I got the box covered just need to know how i should set it up for the best sound.

From your description your amp can be wired in stereo or mono. I'd imagine there is either a switch to set it to mono/stereo and/or connecting the speaker wires across two of the outputs. I'd expect a diagram on the amp itself to show you what to do.

Rick let me know if you need any help setting it up.

hook it up to the stock stereo with a PAC AOEM-GM24 adapter and make sure to disconnect the stock sub

usually it should say on the amp where to plug speakers in if they are bridged. Usually its the LEFT + to the Right - or something like that.

The A8000T is a mono block amp. So it doesn't need to be bridged. The A8000T2 is stereo, 400 watts RMS per channel. I have 2 A8000Ts running in my truck (check out my garage).
If you need any help hooking it up, let me know. I think those subs are dual voice coil, so you need to wire up the voice coils for the correct ohms. The A8000T puts out 800 watts RMS at 2 ohms, 400 at 4 ohms.
