so im on my way to work today .. im about a mile from where i am working and im getting off an off ramp.. at the top im making a right hand turn.. the light turns green as im coming up to it and im riding the brakes lightly.. once i see no one is coming.. i got on the gas not even hard at all.. and it makes a vibrating noise for like 3 seconds then the truck wont go.. so i pulled over and noticed the screen was saying "shift range in... (something or another)" so as im still costing i pull it down in to 2nd gear and it goes again like nothing ever happened?? is this a major problem?? should i have it looked at ?? i remember my dads 02 HD gaser used to do that if he was sitting at a light the converter wouldnt hook up and he had to wate a second... i bought my truck the past febuary and it had 78,000 when i bought it and i now have 84,000 on it.. i dont drive it hard at all nore do i tow anything with it yet.. it does have a goose neck hitch in the bed so i can say the past owner towed with it... thanks for your help !!!
