I have a 2002 LB7 with 115,000 miles on it with edge/juice (the newest version) and I was driving the other day and the engine shut off. The RPM needle started going up and down real fast a few times. I think the battery light came on, I'm not sure if anything on the edge monitor did anything.

I put it in N and cranked it back up right after it died and it started and I haven't had any more trouble. I hitting the big road with my 5 ver and just wondered if I should be concerned

I would think it is the Edge, mine is in the mail going to UT.

Old or new....this has been a problem with them for years. I am going on my 4th box the other three where supposed to have the problem fixed.

That is a pretty expensive solution:eek: although if my next one doesn't work it might be a consideration:( Read the Edge threads in the LB7 Electronics section. If I were you I would call Edge and get a replacement before your trip. If you give them your CC# they will ship you out a replacement ASAP, while you are shipping back yours. Have a nice vacation:ro)

yeah, this happen to one guy while he was pulling 10k lbs behind him and going downhill...almost killed his whole family...I guess when you buy that product, you really are living on the EDGE!

you were the guy I was referring to then. =) Glad the family is alright.

could be injectors, and not the edge. symptoms of injectors are excessive plack smoke,white smoke,hard or no start, and stalling. have someone check the balance rates before you *hitcan the edge

Edge for sure with those symptoms. Batt light, tach sweep. No question. Unplug it and send it back or get a refund if possible.
