I did a search and got NOTHING. I just bought Revo 265's. What PSI front and rear should I be running? Also, how far off is my odometer and speedometer?

depends on the load rating.....the tire itself should say "cold tire pressure___psi"

They are E's. That number just refers to the MAX pressure, not the recommended pressure like your door tag would say. Thanks for the assistance.

I run Revo 265 E's as well. Checked my speedo against a GPS @ about 65mph. Off 3% (not quite 2 mph). 60-70 psi unloaded

Thanks for the input. Which way was the speedo off?

I just put a new set of Michelin, LTX-MS, load range E, 265s on my 06 2500HD Dmax. Tire pressure max of the E rated tire is 80 psi. The truck looks much better but with the tires inflated at the 80psi max, has a stiff bumpy ride.

On my truck when I went from 245's to 265's it made my speedo read accurate.
Example;
With the stockers my speedo indicated 70mph. GPS indicated 74.2mph.
With the 265's with my speedo indicating 70mph, GPS indicated 70.8mph.

I also have revo's in E range, and run them at 60psi. at 40psi I saw a significant drop in mpg's.

~Joe :)I think that would probably be the other way around. :confused:

With the 245 tires my speedo reads 70 mph and both of my GPS units (Garmin & Magellan) read 68.9 mph. (Off by 1.6%) :rolleyes:

With 265's my speedo reads 70 mph and the GPS reads 71.5 mph :)

Yeah, sorry 'bout that. I meant that with the 245's the speedo read 74.2mph (ecm) to actually go 70mph (GPS) :o:

I'm running LT 265 revo's as well been running 55 psi speedo around 2mph off on the slow side fuel milage around 16mpg. I am bumping up to 70psi and see what happens. Manufactor spec on tire pressure is 80 psi found on decal on driver ft. door. Although these tire are not factory tire it give you somthing to go by. Also look at the side walls of the tires the tire specs. will be printed on the tire.

I run 265's and corrected my speedo with the hypertech. I'm going to go back to factory setting for tire height and see what it does but I'm 2 MPH faster on speedo than GPS.

My door sticker says 55 PSI front, 80 PSI rear. I've been running 65 all around and I dropped it down to 55 PSI today all around because of the rough ride. I'll bump the rear to 75 when towing the 5er.

BTW, yesterday I added 8 ozs of dyna beads to all 4 tires and although they are new Toyo Open Country A/T tires I can tell the difference.

You need to air the tires to the load that you are carrying. You need to weigh your truck and trailer together by axle. Then, you need to obtain load inflation tables from the manufacture of the tire and air it to the load recommended by them. A 265 LRE will carry 3415lbs/tire at 80 psi. That is a lot weight. I would think most people wouldn't be carrying that much on their trucks. It is not impossible, just not all that common. If you feel better airing them that tight, then have at it. I run my fronts 55 all the time and when unloaded, I run the rears at 45. It still doesn't ride great, but not bad. I air the backs when I pull my gooseneck.
