Anyone had experience with performance injectors for the lb7. I am concerned with improving longevity of the injectors. The stock ones only seem to go 22k-30k before ball seat erosion has the balance rates screwy. just want to know if anyone is seeing something better with the aftermarket. My thinking is less erosion since orifices are larger? Thanks in advance. Steve

The aftermarket performance injectors are nothing more then stock injectors reworked at the tip. Your still using the OEM injectors as the base.

eric, even with the aftermarket injectors being based on stockers do they show less wear, since they are opened up some. what upsize for a stock motor and turbo? maybe a set that has been extrude honed, so the orifices are smoother, would last longer.

The tips seems to be one of the most durable parts of the injectors so I dont think you can improve on them really. Extrude honing is my preferred method for the street guys as they seem to be smoother. For the big guns, EDM seems to work well.
I dont forsee any gains in longevity with a reworked injector though.
20-40 % is plenty for a stock/street motor. Coupled with a BD charger, those have already proven to make 575+ on at least two different trucks
