i have a 05 duramax with edge juice and monitor. I've had the on my truck for about a year with no problems. recently i've started having problems with the truck throwing crazy amounts of black smoke and the truck having no power at all. it's like it's just spitting fuel. I called edge the replaced the box. it did the same thing, could it be the monitor? has anyone else had this problem? if i dissconect the monitor the problem goes away and the truck runs fine. i dont get it

I have had 3 edges replaced. Mine would show an engine temp of 417 , then trip engine light. Some people seem never to have problems, others have the same problem over and over. Good luck with figuring it out. I fixed mine, by having them send me a brand new one and selling it, Im gonna try something new...Possibly EFIlive..
