Hi All,

In my endless wait, I would like to research the different steps that happen from when I order until when I drive off the lot. My dealer told me today that the truck didn't go into the rotation this week and that it would be next week before he could give me a build date. Something about, they only build CC SB LS's on certain days. How does this work?? Any help would be appreciated. Also, where are our trucks built at? I found three different locations for Silverado's, and figured Dmax's would only be built at one of those. Again, thanks for the help. Flint Michigan is the only plant that builds the Crew Cab as far as I know.

Flint builds the Crew Cabs. I believe Pontiac builds the 2500HD and 3500 Extended Cabs. Fort Wayne and Oshawa Canada build the remaining 1500 and 2500 non HD.
