My truck has 14000 miles I have been running the edge juice for about 10k, and lately the trans seems to be getting weeker and weeker. I would like to upgrade the trans and would prefer to go with the complete trans. I havent been able to find a discussion about comparing the 2 trannys. I would appreciate any help in this matter. Also when you put in your new trans i have read that you will need a tech 2 to put the trans in a fast learn and reset the taps(my friend has a otc version of a tech 2 will this work)?

if your buddys tech11 can reset garage shifts and do a fastlearn on the ally i dont see why not ...but i dont know ****e about it
i got gm to use there tech 11
took me around 8 hrs to swap tranny by myself and spent all day today lettin it learn there is otheres on here that know way more about this stuff than i do but you will love the sc5 and 1057 i cant pry the smile off my face today
finnally got the power to the ground also i took my old ally apart today smelt very burnt and cluthes where all black and bunt i have limped my tanny probally 20 times in the past 10000 miles or ever since i got efi strange eh
my codes where always incorrect 5th gear ratio
pulling out to pass and wham limp pull back in ....stuck in 4th gear...pull over clear codes ....flash in alower the power tune...very very lame imo
