Hello,

I could really use your help. The truck idles great, it even idled for over an hour. When I take it a mile down the road though, it acts like it is out of fuel. It surges and will go 5- 10 miles an hour. If it quits I can start it up and runs fine for a short time.
It has a new lift pump, PMD, new fuel line, new fuel filter, new air filter, PMD extention with heat sink.
I think I bypassed the OPS.:confused:

When my Dad's 97 did that it turned out to be a plugged up sock in the fuel tank.....putting the air hose to the fuel line before the LP fixed that little problem....

My truck was similar work the fuel peddle a bit to get it to go faster but RPM's wouldn't go over 2,000. The problem was worn out timing chain and IP. Changed them been good since.
