I just replaced my 350 gas engine with a 6.5L non-turbo with mechanical injection. On my first road trip I found I only got about 18 mpg (thats with real gallons) so thats about 15 mpg with US gallons. I was going about 65-70 mph for most of the trip. My truck is a 4x4 with 3.42 gears and a 4 speed overdrive transmission.

I was just wondering if this is about what I should expect for mileage or is it a bit on the low side?
