I just purchased an 04 and am concerned about the oil pressure at idle. It is hot here (100+) and at idle, the gage reads about half way between 0 and 60 (about 30 - 35). As soon as you give some throttle, the pressure jumps up to 60. Is this pressure at idle normal?

i have an 03 and thats what its always done. the faster the engine is spinning, the higher the oil pressure is. it normaly wont go above 50-55 when its under a normal load. Its nothing to worry about.
