OK, I drive a gasser, I know, but we have a G3500 van on the farm. It is a 00 with 90k. We bought it this summer, and we noticed that temp gauge hardly moved, and presumed it was the themostats. It is cold now and needed it fixed and the tranny flushed. I was assuming that the thermostats would be covered under the 100k warranty, but were not. So are they or aren't they??

The thermostats are not listed in the parts covered in the extended 5 years/100 000 mi. warranty (with 100$ deductible) for the 6.5 engine.

Regular maintenance items are not covered. The thermostat is not listed for a regular check or replacement on my owner's manual, but it is normally considered a maintenance item.
