My brother just bought a 12v 98 cummins thats totaly stock. He is wondering what his best options are in getting more power out of it for towing. btw- sc, 5spd 2500 4x4

I envy your brother big time, I have looked for a 98 12V for a long time, just too dang hard to find! As far as power, the 12V cummins engines have the P-Pump fuel pump on them and you can turn them up for free and really wake that puppy up! My dad has a 95 cummins and all he did was turn the pump up from stock, and that baby has a TON of power and smokes like a beast!
