I have over 15,000 miles on this filter, iam running the racor pre filter on the frame rail with the racor r-60s filter. It's good to change the filters and keep them clean, I would much rather change them too often, than not often enough. Before I put my pre-filter on my OEM filter at 10K was MUCH dirtier than that. Now that I am filtering down to 1/10 micron, I doubt that the OEM will see much crud. I may try to cut open the r60 filter tomorrow. Can i use the Baldwin BF1223 filter instead of the R660S filter??? Not sure if the Balwin is available in 2 micron like the R60 your using? fishingn 05-26-2004, 09:57 AM Sent an email to Racor asking them what micron rating the BF1223 filter had. I got a email back saying that it was a 3 micron nominal. I may try one on my Racor head next filter change....The BF1223 is a replacement for the R60s filter. Wonder if it will fit on the filter head???? | ||
