Last night after a cold start I left my driveway and before I could go ten feet the Allison transmission would go to a neutral condition. It would do it whether I was in 1,2,3,D or R. After shifting into any of the gears it would move a few feet then go neutral. After shutting down the engine and re-starting it acted normally. No warnings ever came up on the information center.

Is this possbily the NSBU switch that I've read about?

Does this sound like what happen??? Copied from my post Is this possible...
Alright so i was parked in a field, there were some small ruts(3-6" deep) from last fall.went to leave, start up,I could swear i put it in R, start to move and truck lurches few times, as i looked at the shifter it was just dropping into neutral.... I was like WTF???At first i thought it was just truck bouncing over the ruts.i was only going idle speed.. Is it possible that i somehow got inbetween R & N??? After i got on smooth level ground i tried to do it, but could see no way how, truck seems to drive and shift perferectly fine the 7mile ride home....

I may have possibly found what caused my problem. An additional clue that I noticed this morning was that my clock had reset when this all happened. I checked the connections on the battery and both were loose, one was very loose. I think my truck my have sat for a while with no power and then when I went to start it it was getting an intermittent connection. It did seem to turn over slow when I started it that time. I'd guess that this might mess with the computer a bit. After tightening things up it all seems fine so far.
