Someone on TDS says he got it put in. I don't know if it will work for the GM version but might not hurt to call and findout.

I have an aluminum shift handle. Loosing the rubber sleeve really helps finding the gears but transmits a ton of noise. I was able to eliminate most of it with a rubber washer on the end without sacrificing anything.


It sounds like the BD kit replaces a lot more. I can speed shift 2-3 and I'm pretty good with 1-2 even. I'm happy with what I have for now.
