ok so Ihave had my hyperpac for a few weeks. I love the features and the large display. But I kinda thought it would be like other tuners and make it smoke alot on the high setting. Im not wanting the smoke but since im not seeing any I wondered if may be it wasnt working right? So do you smoke alot? lol

I never had the hyperpac, but I have had the Hypertech programmer III in my truck. It never made alot of smoke, even on it's highest setting, I would compare it to the Edge on level 2/3 for smoke. That is kind of Hypertech's MO. They don't make the most power, but it is safe power for those that don't plan on upgrading the Allison or drivetrain. If you want smoke, sell it and get a Edge Juice, upgrade it too hot, set it on level 6/5, lock it up in 4th at about 50 and let the smoke roll or a Diablosport Predator on highest level or even 85 for that matter.

Thanks for the info. No im not wanting the smoke. I just thought it might on high so I wondered if it was working. I do have more power and almost 3mpg more fuel in mileage. So this is the perfect box for me.
