Under the passenger seat is a mount for multiple little jack handles. On the rear of that mount sits one lone handle piece. When it falls out of one clip it rattles against the jack. Hard to see and hard to find. You got a rattle? Now you know where to check.

The seatbelt dinger drives me nuts. Nuts is normal but when backing up trailers or doing other parking lot maneuvers, it's a real distraction. The circuit is normally closed when the belt is in. Don't bother snapping open the connector under the seat. Just slit the cover above the plug enough to snap on one of those blue plastic wire jumpers. That closed the circuit, shut off that stupid dinger and improved my disposition.

I took a look. There's a two wire plug. I unplugged it and inserted a female blade terminal into it to complete the circuit (red size blade) No dash light or bell forever on the drivers side.Edited by: hoot

Then you would have to plug and unplug the seatbelts each time you put your on and took it off. Not a "reasonable" solution to me but certainly a solution.

Just plug or jump the wires.

Hoot,

The phone didn't ring so I knew it was you. Franklin Township Municipal complex - Exit 9 off the N.J. Tpk. Came back on I 73 through Allentown. Should have directly mailed you. Maybe again?

Captain.... What I did simply tells the truck my belt is on so I can choose whatever I want without being "warned"

I don't mean in the seat belt. I'm talking about the connector under the seat.

Good pictures Hoot. Worth a 'thousand words' in my book.

I see, or think I see, you broke that darn tab holder. Mine broke where it went through the hole. It would never break if I had not decided fooling around under there was a bummer and just tore it off.

No it's a little red slide lock. Slide it back and it almost falls apart. I like it better the the fingernail busters GM uses. The connector itself slid off that white retainer you see on the seat frame.

I'd hate to see you baiting a hookhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif

Just looked. I found that connector mount piece. With a little care it will go back into the hole and hold the connector. Cool. Thanks.

Here, now you can see how I ....."BAIT A HOOK".http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/4-10Mal_hangs_it.jpg
