How much lift are you guys running to clear 37-38" tires?

On one of my old trucks, 2002 2500HD I ran 38's for a while and ran a 12" kit. Cleared them just fine.

To clear 37s offroad under full articulation you'll need 8-9" of lift. You can fit them on a 6" lift if you crank the torsion bars and do some trimming but they will rub offroad.
