Hi All, My 05 Silverado D/A's transmission acts kind of strange after it's been driven long and hot. The transmission seems to be delaying it's shift until about 2250 RPM and by that time the engine is roaring. The transmission's tems guage is only showing 200 deg but I've only noticed the problem when the ambient temp is over 105. Ill start from a stop and my truck sounds like a jetliner taking off as it works through the gears. I thought maybe the roaring was the heinous sound of the engines cooling fan but the noise level seems to correlate to the engine speed. (ie decreases significantly when the transmission upshifts). Any help? Thanks.

Is it possible that the fan noise is somehow changing with engine RPM?
