For those who care on spike tv the show Xtreme 4x4 will be firing up their twin turbo duramax today on the show. Banks claims 770 rwhp. It's is a similar set-up as their sidewinder truck.

i'm still waiting for banks to come out with a power package for the 06 duramax trucks.

that setup has turbo isolated to each side, everything have ever read says to combine either intake or exhaust to balance cylinders. if it looses a turbo half engine will kill other side, thing is gale banks is one that called to use x-over on intake or exhaust.

It has 2 little ford sidewinder turbos on it, and its about time they finish the damn thing! lol

On yesterdays Xtreme 4x4 (Spike TV), Jessie and Ian built a custom trailer to be towed behind the Suburban Gorilla (Banks Twin Turbo Hummer Body on Suburban Frame). Maybe their was two showings and I recorded the wrong one.

Today, Sunday (30 July 2006) the show should air at 12pm est.

i think that the intakes are designated for each side of the motor but they also open up to each other. If the system is anything like the sidewinder race truck then it should be killer.
