Everytime it rains or I wash my truck I notice moisture droplets inside the right tail light lens. How's it getting in there? I dont have any cracks.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks.

You most likley have a leaking gasket. I have seen tail light half full of water. Drill a hole in it at the bottom on the inside where it will not show.

Well I hate to drill a hole in it, that would continue to allow ambient moisture into the light. I would rather keep it a sealed unit, there is no gasket. It appears to me that the inner black cover cannot be removed from the outer red tail light lens. I think it is suppose to be a sealed unit because the light bulb sockets have a gasket on them and thats the seal. They seem to be working.

I wonder if a bead of silicone around the seam of the inner/outer lens would stop this. ???Edited by: Rcher
