I have a 2004 LLY with 1,000 miles. I followed all the break-in rules. I pulled my 5th wheel today for about 30 miles. When the truck got good and warm (keep in mind I am still pulling at 50 mph or less), the truck started making weird noises when comming to a stop. At first, I thought it was the transmission. However, the truck would make the same noise when I pressed on the brake and reved the motor at the same time. It seemed to go away after I quit pulling the trailer. The noise put me in mind of a power steering pump going out (being strained and complaining about it). All fluids appear up to reccomended levels. I need to pull my 5'er next week to go camping.

The brake booster is hydraulic and runs off the power steering pump. They do make some noise. The best thing to do would be to compare it to another truck at the dealer.
