I've looked all over and can't find the procedure to adjust the parking break. I can't find any adjustment on the cables.

How do you adjust the parking break on a 2003 2500HD?

Thanks.

You need to remove the rear wheels, calipers, caliper brackets and rotors. Then they adjust almost like regular drum brakes. They may be worn down too much due to a bad holding clip. If that is the case the new shoes come with new style clips.

Sid,

Thanks. I've never been into a set of rear disc breaks before and had no idea how a parking break worked in the case of discs. I'll have a look based on your information.

Thanks again.

Yeah, and you get new rotors with those new shoes.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Unhappy.gif
