Mine comes on every morning, but if you blink you miss it. My eyes usually are not even open in the morning so I do not see it all that much....

Take care
Mike

Even in the winter the LLY and the LBZ's wait to start "squiggly symbol" only comes on for a few seconds. In the summer it is just a flash.

With the daytime temps in the 100's and overnight in the 70's the glow plug light never comes on.

+1.. Lately I get in and crank it as soon as the key hits the ignition.. Now I get antsy waiting 15-30 seconds for our old 7.3 PSD's 'wait to start' light to go off -:t

I always had to wait at least a few seconds with my 6.0, even if i jujst turned the truck off and needed to start it again i would still have to wait

Even in weather temp's -27f in canada i've only seen my light for a max of 20 seconds... thats says a lot for the Isuzu glow-plug system if that was the std wait time for my 6.0

Want a long wait.. try to start a 1999 cummins in -30* weather w/ out a block heater. I probably sat there for 2 mins waiting for the glow plug light to go out.

The funny part is when it finally did go out I turned the ignition and my fingers slipped..had to wait another 30+ second for the light to go out a second time! lol

Cant imagine what the people in the hotel thought when that cummins came to life in -30* weather at 4am

I've had my F350 walk a few feet in addition to the horrible noise of an RPM that's so low it almost doesn't register:eek:

it got the shakes huh?! that poor cummins was blowin white smoke and knocking so hard I was sure it was about to send a rod though the hood.

PowerJokes sound bad anyway, I cant imagine what its like in cold weather!

when it is below 65 in the morning it comes on for about 1 second. Only had my truck 1 month today and drive it almost everyday. Maybe only seen the light 5 or 6 times since new. I had a remote start put on the truck and it has a 10 second delay to wait for the light. Plenty of time today but what about in 6 months?

Mine lights up for about 5 seconds each and every time. Even when it is 100 outside or if I just shut it down.

Mine is for less than a second for the first start of the day. After that, no more squiggly.

I just took ownership of mine Tuesday and have not seen the light at all. Benny
