This is my first post to the forum but I've reading for 10 weeks while waiting for my truck to arrive. I picked it up on Thursday and have had that tell tale smile on my face ever since. The only problem is the dealer failed to include the DIC steering wheel controls when he ordered the truck. This was a big diappointment becuase I had it on my list of options and have read so many positive comments about it on this forum. My question is has anyone had the dealer add this option after delivery? It would seem to me the changing the steering wheel and pluging in the proper wiring harness should be easy if the rest of the componants are already there. Being as this is only a $125.00 option I would think the computer should be there as well. Any input on this would appreciated.

I didn't order those steering wheel controls. It seemed pretty clear to me in the brochures that they control the radio without mention they are required for other options. It just wasn't that clear.


In fact I was really looking forward to using those options. My own fault I suppose for not digging a bit further. The brochure states that the DIC has all these wonderfull things, but no mention of steering wheel controls as a prerequisite. leads one to believe its built right in


Kinda picked my ass, minor complaint.
