I have read several threads about blocking or unplugging the EGR. Exactly what is the purpose of the EGR and what happens when you block and/or unplug it? Thanks

: Egr Riccas 07-26-2006, 07:53 PM Blocking it prevents soot from re-entering your engine. Definately recomended. Its there for emition standards... so you know what that means.
