Ok about 2 weeks ago I threw 4th and 5th gear. Ok I order the Stage V and 1057 w/ deep pan. I also got the tansfer case brace. Ok I started the removal last night and I got all the wires dissconnected and the transfercase off. Today all I got is the Torque Converter and the trans to remove. My tranny will be in later tonight.

Whut the easiest way on gettin the torque converter off.

Remove starter and make sure batteries are disconnected. You will have to use an extension and 15mm socket and remove 6 converter bolts.

Yea I got it l out and now im waiting for the new tranny to arive at the terminal.
It wasn't that hard after I found the little hole in the driver side on the bottom of the tranny. All I know is it was heavy with the converter in it.

Yea I agree... I got it in this morning and did all the checks and put in all the small bolts and nuts. Hooked up all the wires. I finished up everything around 4:45. When I cranked it to fill the tranny fluid I got a check engine code. I wasn't able to check it because quadzilla isnt workin right. How many qts does it normally take after the swap? I have 21 in mine, suncoast said around 22. I would of started breaking it in but I cant until tomorrow because when I limped the old one I have to do a fast learn and no one can do it after 5.

Josh,

Clear all DTC (diagnostic trouble codes) engine and trans with Tech II before fast learn. If the ignition key is turned on with the harness disconnected you will set a very long list of DTCs.

Yea I Got everything cleared out, got the tcm reprogramed. I loaded Quadzilla up and reinstalled edge. Started the relearn process that suncoast suggested in the packet. I got to the 3/4 throttle and then all of a sudden my truck just cut off. Luckly me and my friend were right by his house and was able to coast into his driveway. Tried to re crank and it cut right back-off. Tried 3 more times same thing, edge was also not on. So we went inside b/c we had to do some work anyway there. Little bit later we tried to leave got to the end of the drive way and it cut off again. So I unhooked edge and it didn't do it again. So I had to start all over again with the learning. Called edge and they said that the boards have been doing that when they get hot. So i sent it back today and they are gonna fix it. While its there im probaly gonna upgrade to Hot Juice.
