I am going to buy my buddies 02 ccsb. It has 115k on the clock and is in perfect condition. Fully loaded exept leather. There is not a scratch on it and the trans fluid and screw off filter have been done every 25k, the internal filter at 50k,the oil every 5k and the fuel filter ever 10k. This has not been a work truck so it shows little to no wear. I would like to pay a fair amount for the truck as he is my friend and I know the vehicle well. Thanks in advance for the input.

Have you checked out NADA /KBB price. Thats usually a good place to start.
I checked there and it is within range but it seems as though the vehicles that are selling are below that. I know it is a good truck I just want the deal to be fair to the both of us.

$22,000 - $24,000 if 4x4, that's off the top of my head, no research of Nadaguides or kbb.com.
The price drops considerably once it passes the 100,000 mile mark. Wouldn't pay more than $24,000. A good deal would be in the 20-21K range.

Paid 20k for mine with 76k. Mine is an Ext Cab SB and did have some scratches in the paint. With the mileage differance and being a CC, I would try for 20k.

i think if it is that clean and is within average prices you should jump on it. knowing the history means alot. and it sounds like the guy was anal on servicing it, which is definitely a plus. good luck....wil
Thanks for the insight. The truck is on its way from Florida on a flat bed ( my buddy ownes a towing company and is trading in one of his tow trucks so he is bring me his truck) It looks like it will end up being 22,500 which seems from what you have said is resonable. It may not be a great price but it is a great truck with a great former owner. I am looking forward to being a proud owner of a duramax.
Thanks Again

I think you got a fair deal considering that you know the good history of the truck. Enjoy your new ride!!!.
