fill the tank with fuel and drive it home....unless of course somebody has proof that doing all that non-sense does anything...?

I agree with Dmaxalli. Drive it like you are going to drive it. I waited almost 80 miles before taking mine snowmobiling. Bought it Saturday night (1/17/2004) and went Sunday morning, towed 2 sleds on a small trailer.


Seems to be holding up just fine. :)


Has 7100 miles now.

I purchased mine in El Paso and hit interstate 10 immediately heading back home. It never saw anything below 80 for the first 400 miles. I did learn about the pilot injection as soon as my wife took the wheel, her foot is a little heavier than mine. Scared the hell out of me at first. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif It is plenty tuff, drive it like you stole it and enjoy it.
