I was browsing online and I found this truck for sale:

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c68/Badfish740/GMC.jpg

The description is as follows:

"Not Listed Interior, Not Listed Exterior, Not Listed Engine, Not Listed Transmission, Not Listed, 8-cyl, 5 sp, ps, ABS, air, 90,051 miles, VIN TZ527754, p-lcks, p-win, cruise, tilt, am/fm cassette, dual air bags, bedliner, r/slider, Reg cab, 8’ bed, plow prep, Tow Pkg."

If you look closely, I think you can see the tell tale holes in the bumper which diesels usually have right? I'm going to call tomorrow, but I figured I'd throw it out here first.

Is that all they gave for a vin need the 8th digit to know for sure.
Vin should start 1 or 2 depening on if it is usa or canada built, then GT which stands for GMC, then the next digit is the GVW, then the next is 2 or 4 wheel drive, then 1/2, 3/4,or 1 ton, then body type, then engine, then a check digit, then year, then what plant it was built. Got this out of my LMC catalog. Those numbers don't work at all.

Call your local dealer with those numbers of the vin (They are the last 8) The parts guy should be able to tell you the full vin, engine, trim package, etc.

Anywhere from a 1990-2000 Silverado (2500, but a 1500 or 3500 SRW would do), 4x4, manual trans. In other words, the holy grail of 6.5Ls...lol

"Holy Grail".....I love it!
I've got one setting in the barn in pieces, totaled. I've had it for a couple years, trying to decide what to do with it.....that comment may just be the motivation I need to get started. '93 k2500, NV4500, 6.5, Reg. Cab,
Thanks
