On my recent road trip I found yet another great use for 303. I hit a lot of bugs on my way down to NC, no I hit A WHOLE LOT of bugs. It took me a long time to get them all off. While I was cleaning the engine compartment, I had an epiphany. I figured pretty much the whole front of the truck is plastic, this stuff is great on plastic and the over spray on my wheels keeps them clean and shiny, why not spray down the whole front of the truck? I did just that. I soaked the grille, headlights, bumper and valance. When I got home, I had just as may, if not more bugs. It took me a 10th of the time to clean up the front. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gifThe only part I didn't spray, the license plate was a real PITA to clean. Why I didn't spray it is beyond me.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

I just thought I'd pass that on to make life easy for others...

Later fellas...

In the old days of driving a cab over cornbinder we use to spray the front of it down with PAM http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

That would make it easy to wash the bugs off.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

So what is this 303 you speak of??http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Stuff works good. Does nto attract dust, does nto give a greasy look like armor all, and is a UV protectant for many materials:

Here's a link to 303's site, check it out to learn more. http://www.303products.com/main.php?infopage=protectant

Summit Racing carries it online, however there is a dealer locator on 303's site so you can get it local.

HDmax, I would take the trip to Grand Rapids again, looks like it'll be a longer trip this year though. It's another few hours to cheese land.

Mike, I guess I forgot Eric's GTG is later in the year, I haven't heard talk of it yet but it's still early. By cheese land, I meant Wisconsin. Kennedy's GTG is next month and looks to be pretty good. It's gonna be a long trip...

Mayby there'd be more turnout if it was more southeast. How about Ohio. I hear hd max has a really big back yard and wouldn't mind funding food, a portable dyno and door prizes.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif What a guy!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

Mike, I hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag for your plans....

Eric, what'd ya do, buy the dealership?

303 is great stuff. I need to find a cheaper dealer than the West Marine store I have locally.

I think that Eric is getting ready to stake out on his own.

Comments Eric?

I see we have a dyno here in Mansfield.

I DO have a BIG front and back yard.

Might get a tour of our local GM fender and door factory.

A Corvette club does slalom races in our parking lot, some D/A could do the course too (atleast try to do it might be toooo much smoke to finish).

There is always Mid-ohio raceway, 50 trucks smoking up the road course http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
