Can someone (or a group of us) put together a step-by-step approach to modifying an LBZ? What would be the best way to go & what would you get first, 2nd, ect.?
All components would need to be fully compatible & still work well by themselves.

For instance, would you be better off starting with exhaust modifications or a programer? At what point would you need to worry about transmission upgrades? When will you need to upgrade driveshaft, ujoints, ect. (if at all)?

A bad approach would be to buy "XYZ" chip because it is cheaper, only to replace it later with "PDQ" component, which is better, but costs a bit more.

Finally, let us know how much of an improvement we are making with each upgrade/addition. And if you know the costs, that would be helpful. I'm sure there are even some free & lowcost power upgrades out there!

Interesting - very safe and practical approach. Make things ready to handle the added power first. I like.
