After having our last truck stolen two weeks ago, my wife and I finally settled with the insurance company and decided to switch brands over to a GMC 3500 srw with the lly motor. So far after two days the truck is everything that we could want. Our last truck did not come close to having the amenities that this one does. Our previous truck was a f350 dually that had quite a few "goodies" on it. Can't wait to start on this one. My only complaint so far is the "rail dust" that settled into the paint. I didn't catch it at the dealer and not really willing to leave for a day to have them fix it, besides with a clay bar it comes off pretty easy, and this way I can go over the entire body with a fine tooth comb. A couple of questions for guys "in the know" Why steel wheels on the 3500 srw? How does a strait pipe sound on one of these? Thanks and look forward to conversing with all of you.
