K&S Fuel injection is having a dyno day Saturday. See Events forum.
I will have LLY module(s) on hand for trial use on the dyno for this event. Might even have a Juice!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif
I'll also have a pretty good selection of Edge/Quad/Van Aaken stuff for the LB7 as well as some of the Ford/Dodge stuff.

I'll have something for most everything. Primarily Edge and Van Aaken as they can swap so easily. Quad Stealth programs easily as well. Should have LLY boxes from both Quad and Edge. Edge's LLY is not for release just yet, but having one to test is the key!
Typically, someone posts the results. Maverick or Runaway are the usual suspects...

JK, do you have any idea on the speculated numbers for the edge box, or is that privi information that we are just goin to have wait for?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif We have not heard yet what the edge was putting out, only that the quad was said to give somewhere in the neighbourhood of 100 hp. Does this sound about right to you? Thanks

Would you believe that I did not ask? Seriously, it is supposed to be pretty strong, but I have strict orders to return on Monday. Dunno if I'll get a chance to try it on my dyno as well.
Quad's box is supposed to be 120HP I believe. Saturday will show for sure. The Quad unit is here, but still unopened.

Well since Kennedy said I usually post the results, here goes.....the LLY ran a disappointing 223 or something. It was smoking at idle and Tech II showed 2 injectors out of spec. They ran the LLY Juice and it made 120 more HP. Kennedy said the injectors checked out good with the Tech II afterwards. My truck ran only a 373 and I thought it should have ran higher. It ran 405 on another dyno.

Of the 3 LLY trucks that I had available, all 3 had problems. 1 lost his injection pump with a massive fuel leak. 1 was apart for paint work, air ride, and exhaust, and the 3rd was weak as Maverick said. The 3rd unit was on hand for the dyno day and ran 229 I believe, but had a lot of blue smoke afterwards. A couple of injectors looked questionable, but we decided to run it anyhow. It ran 35x with the Juice on.
The Quad unit was tried by the guy who had the pump problems beforehand, and time was limited so we could only run one unit, and hadn't yet tried the Juice so it was Edge's turn...
Yes, the injectors balanced well after all was said/done, so it is hard to say what was up...
Modified ran 34x I believe on his LB7 with a 90HP Juice. This is about 100up. This puts Maverick's theoretical gains at 130 ish which is about what I expect.
When you cross 450 on this machine traction is limited. Mine did 485 au natural which is a shade lower than expected, but not bad considering how sticky the air was. Friday's test of the same setup showed 480 on my dyno.
When I gassed her though, the gains were definitely NOT there as traction was lost, a hook was straightened, and one of those light grade "carribeaner" type hooks was destroyed. 532 isn't bad, and wasn't necessary to win, but it did about 620 Friday with low flow...

It seems the LLY's can be low on power after all. Sorry about your bad luck.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

Hey JK, nice showing. Careful you might get a bit of slack for posting numbers over 600 http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif
