I am intersested in putting a navigation unit in my 06 sieerra. I just need some info on it like compadability, fit, price, options ect. Is the gm unit a dvd player also? I realy like this option but it wasnt avalible in any off the pakages I could afford. I saw a few used ones on ebay but wasnt sure if they would work on my truck and the others where 1200$. I really dont want to apend over $500.
I am torn between buying exhaust or this for my truck. The only thing holding me back with the exhaust is that to my understanding hi flow exhaust throws codes and I would have to wire something up to fool the computer. thanks Matt

I don't think you will find a touch screen for under $500 but the INR for under $500 might be possible. If you have a Bose sound system, these will work, if not, I think it's difficult to get one set up. Here's the link with lots of information on the project.

I do not have the bose system, just factory am/fm cd unit. I was just searching through this forum like I know I should of done before asking the same question that was on just about ever other thread:D and It was pretty confusing with all the LUX amps and what not.

No, not DVD players, that would be another upgrade I believe. I think you need a regular bose amp for it to work, but not sure. One of the experts will be along to clarify I'm sure.
