White Duramax 05-19-2004, 10:40 PM They are made by Cavelier, spelling might not be right but close. I believe Maverick has the same tires on his truck.

The Sport King A/T was engineered for both on and off-road performance. This all-weather radial can handle even the most aggressive terrain. It provides great steering response, resists hydroplaning and wears evenly in any wheel position. Full-skid depth tread increases traction while a tough polyester cord body and twin steel belts provide a smooth comfortable ride and long, even wear. All sizes available in Raised White Letters for a sporty appearance.

Kartattack 05-19-2004, 11:06 PM I had a set of Sport King tires 31x10.5x16.5, I think (sold that truck 5 years ago). They were good tires.
White Duramax 05-19-2004, 11:25 PM They have a sister tire, called the Mud King XT, I had a set of these on my truck, sold them and got different mud tires. They are good tires and seem to wear pretty well. I had road force problems with my mud kings so I got rid of them, that can happen with any tire though. They also have a pretty decent price, around $500 or so mounted I think.
wsucowboy 05-20-2004, 01:25 AM I ran em on my first rig, the mud kings i mean, they were definetly cheap, i put them on so i could keep my BFG A/T when i sold the truck, they rode pretty well, but i dont know how long they lasted.
GMC Cowboy Cadilliac 05-20-2004, 10:05 AM Sport Kings are a good tire. Those are what I currently have on my 95 6.5L GMC. Quiet a few of my friends & my brother as well run Sport King Tires on their trucks and our hunting jeep has Buck Shot Mudders on it. They do tend to wear a little faster with everyday road use but they do last. Must be a southern tire, because they are a pretty common tire around here. I plan on when my factory on/off road tires wear out I will probably put a set of Sport Kings on my new 04..... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
Atrzes 05-20-2004, 03:43 PM My buddy has a set on his 96 Bronco, he loves them has over 70k and is just now thinking about replacing them.
Note: There made by Michelin Edited by: Atrzes

Polarbear 05-20-2004, 10:37 PM Hey good deal. Nice to see the consensus(sp) is good on these tires. Like i siad dealer put these tires on it before it went on the resale lot, i dont think theyve got 1500-2000 miles on them, still some nobbies left.... They sure do seem to have some good grip to them, i wouldnt hestiate tryin to go through some mud w/em....
70k out of a set of tires...WOW thatd be sweet....hehehehe
Thanks for all the info guys, appreciate it.-Adam
aketay 05-20-2004, 10:49 PM Are they?? I was told they were made by BFG.

Polarbear 05-23-2004, 09:45 PM Hey, did any of you guys have any trouble w/steering wheel vibration running these tires??? I got a slight vibe in my wheel from 45 or so on up....dealer rebalanced tires a week ago, but didnt seem to make much difference....The tires are size 285 as well...Thanks-Adam
White Duramax 05-25-2004, 12:16 AM Your probably gonna have to get them balanced on a road force balancer.
