ANYBODY KNOW OF A GOOD AFTERMARKET ONE, SUPPOSEDLY AT THE DEALER THEY ARE ON A NATIONAL BACK ORDER AND ITS THE LAST PART I NEED TO FIX MY DMAX POOR THING HASNT BEEN DRIVEN IN 3 WEEKS.... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!!:ro)

Why are you replacing it?
Any aftermarket air filters installed?

No its under warranty but the dealer is saying its gonna take up to 2 weeks to obtain one... they have had it for 2 weeks already

2 weeks!!! Can't you just buy a finger stick to bypass the sensor??

If you install ANY aftermarket part make sure it is NEW and has been certified by the manufaturer to meet all OEM spec's. Also, GM's warranty will likely be VOID on that particular aftermarket part. If it fails again, you'll have to get the aftermarket manufacturer to warranty it. Any future engine problems could be blamed on that aftermarket part also causing headaches with any warranty work.

See if they will pull the sensor off from another truck on the lot. It's worth a try.
